How Zuru keeps your records connected

Record a sale once and Zuru updates your stock, your money and your customer’s balance. Here is what happens behind the scenes.

4 min Beginner

Most shops keep three separate notebooks: one for stock, one for cash and one for who owes what. Zuru keeps them in one place and links them, so one action updates all three.

One sale, three updates

  1. Stock goes down for every product in the sale.
  2. Money goes up in the account that received it: cash, bank or POS.
  3. Customer debt goes up if the customer paid only part, or nothing yet.

Sale versus money received

A sale records the products sold. Money received is recorded in a payment account. If a customer buys on credit, the sale is recorded but no money enters an account yet. Zuru tracks the balance as customer debt until the customer pays.
